Data sources and independence.

Awaremate brings supported information into one map while keeping the underlying source visible. This page identifies the official government and specialist source families represented by current app layers.

Coverage is source-led.

A listed source does not mean every place, event or data field is always available. Coverage and update frequency vary by location, provider and feature.

Independent app—not a government service.

Awaremate is an independent service operated by Clyptis Pty Ltd. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorised by or representative of the Australian Government or any state, territory, emergency service, transport authority, government agency or political entity.

Awareness, not emergency warning.

Awaremate is an information and awareness tool, not an emergency warning service. Data can be delayed, incomplete or unavailable. Always follow official emergency-service advice and call 000 in an emergency.

Power outages and community content

Power-outage information comes from the electricity network provider named in each supported result. Provider coverage and fields differ, so the relevant source is shown with the event rather than presented as one national feed.

Community reports are contributed by users and may not be verified. They are not a substitute for official emergency, police or safety information.
